99 Low Baggy Petite - Devyn

I thought I was always going to be too short to pull off low waisted jeans... and it is always SO hard to shop for jeans as a 5'2 girly. I usually have to pay half the price of the jeans to get them professionally hemmed and they never look the way they were originally made. I have tried so so many jeans and wasted so much money and came to the conclusion that maybe it wasn't my height but my build? I pretty much gave up on low waisted jeans and didn't feel good about myself for a while, and then I searched the internet for petite ones and could literally only find this brand. Figured I'd try it out for one last time and I'm very glad that I did because they fit me perfectly and are very flattering. I finally feel included on the trend and have found the brand where I'll be purchasing all of my jeans. I got these jeans in 2 colors and 2 sizes. I got 25 in the lighter color and 26 in this one. Both fit and I'm keeping both pairs, for a slightly different look when it comes to fit. 26 have a oversized/baggy look and hang on my waist while 25 sit below my belly button and flatter my butt for *slightly* more of a fitted look. I can't attest to how the sizing will be affected after a few wears and washing, though. I'm a bit worried about that. If you're on the fence and have my measurements it may be smart to consider that jeans usually loosen a bit with time. With that, I'd urge you to do the 25s. For reference I weigh about 120 pounds. Also -- they are a tiny bit long on me still, but it fits with the look and with shoes it's not too noticeable. I probably still wouldn't recommend anyone shorter than 5'2 to get the 26's unless they're okay with getting them hemmed or tripping on your pant legs.
